Shinoff and Church Win Harassment and Retaliation Case

Partner Daniel Shinoff and Ryan Church, Associate, successfully defended a petition for writ of mandate and a civil suit against their District client. Petitioner/Plaintiff Roxanne Stanley filed a petition for writ of mandate challenging the District’s decision to discipline her in 2007. Shinoff and Church represented the District in that matter and prevailed. Stanley then filed a civil suit alleging, among other things, sexual harassment, retaliation, and constructive termination. After a five day trial, the jury returned with a defense verdict on all claims.
