Pate and Romero Defend Contract Claim Against National School District

December 12, 2007

William C. Pate, partner, and associate Richard Romero successfully defended National School District from G-Force, a Division of State Architect inspection firm. G-Force initiated litigation in San Diego Superior Court against the National School District on February 2, 2007. G-Force’s lawsuit sought additional compensation for Division of State Architect inspection services on three public work projects. After discovery ensued, the District cross-complained for alleged violations of the False Claims Act. The matter subsequently settled in December, 2007 for a waiver of costs with no monetary recovery by Plaintiff G-Force against the District.
